Diabetes Awareness Month Photo-a-Day 8 – Organization

You just don't know what's in those baskets.

Thanks to today’s #dmpad prompt, I am reminded that I desperately need to organize my diabetes supplies. Some are in plastic drawers underneath my bathroom sink (the “changeout” sets of CGM sensor and pump infusion sets stuff) and then all the hoarded supplies are up in baskets in my closet. Slightly a bit out of reach for some of them, but that is when I call in the husband to get something down for me.
Not much rhyme or reason, but I can find stuff, so it works. (I am still awed by Katy’s closet storage solution. I need to do something like that!)

  1. I am so glad that I am not the only one who posted pictures of my supply stash for #organization. After I hit submit I thought to myself “Maybe I should have posted about a diabetes organization, like JDRF?” Nah! I’m too narcissistic for that, must post about my organization skills. lol. Meanwhile, the house is a disaster, but diabetes supplies look lovely.

  2. Personally, I’d be afraid to post photos of my (lack of) organization. It works for me anyway, though I like your baskets a lot better.

  3. thanks but…that ALGOT system keeps things tidy, but the drawers are *agony* to have to pull out. so i always just try to snake my arm in to grab whatever i’m needing, and then i get scraped. i like the look of your bin baskets better. if i had it to do over again, i’d go for shelves with bins.
